This is a single page describing the full vi/vim input model, the function of all keys, and all major features. You can see it as a compressed vi/vim manual. Click on the image below to access the full-size bitmap image, or download the vector-based, scalable SVG version (zip-compressed - and be sure to view & print the SVG with the open source application Inkscape or the Adobe plug-in for Internet Explorer, Firefox breaks the layout for some reason, apart from rendering it with no anti-alias!).

A quick reference guide to Wilbur HTML 3.2, plus tips on usage and good design. The HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is composed of a set of elements that define a document and guide its display. This document attempts to present a quick reference guide to HTML 3.2 - all the elements in the draft document for HTML 3.2 are listed, plus a brief description of those elements. HTML 3.2 builds on version 2.0, HTML+ and the experimental version 3.0, it is also an attempt to bring order and some legitimacy to the rogue elements introduced by Netscape, Microsoft and others. It is backwards compatible with HTML 2.0. As an aside I have mentioned some elements that are not part of the HTML 3.2 standard where these are in widespread use but I would emphasise that these are not part of the standard and their use should be avoided wherever possible.

This essay will get you started writing HTML so you can put up a website on the Internet. HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language,a platform independent technique of distributing formatted documents via the web. The bold, italic etc. in the document you are reading now (presumably on a web browser), is encoded by embedding tags like <B> and <I>. This markup scheme works on any brand of computer and allows web sites to send all information in a standard way, without having to worry about what brand of computer the recipient has, or what software she uses.

This is a Guide to the key HTML elements that make a Web Page easily readable by anyone on the Internet, regardless of his or her operating system - Windows, Linux, Mac or UNIX - independent of the Browser used - MS Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Safari or whatever. An understanding of the tags and the appropriate modifying attributes will allow you to design your own page, or to edit and improve one developed by a special editor like Front Page.

Note that this Quick Reference covers only HTML; it does not cover DHTML ( Dynamic HTML), Also, color-coding has been used to indicate items that are browser-specific. I only include items that are HTML standards or supported by both of The Big Two (black text), Netscape-specific (green text), or Internet Explorer-specific (red text). In addition to the color coding for browser-specific tags, the same information is imparted by superscripted letters corresponding to the respective browsers: "NC" for Netscape Communicator and "IE" for Internet Explorer. Other than these two non-link special-purpose colors, I use the normal link colors: blue for unvisited links, purplish for visited ones. I have deliberately chosen to exclude the lesser-used browsers (mostly because of the time involved to do the extra research). When and if other browsers gain widespread usage, I will include them as well.
