Never used CSS grid generators before, I guess I prefer to code layout by hand so I have a clearer understanding of how everything works. However I’ll give a couple of these a try…if it saves time it’s got to be worth it!

having never used grids before for design, this list of tools is exactly what i need to get myself started.

CSS Portal CSS Layout Generator is fantastic, so quick and easy to get a layout. 2 mins and i had a 2 column centred layout with header, footer and navigation space. The code is clean and the css is nice and simple.

Absolutely brilliant, thanks for introducing me to such a fantastic resource!

My Current favorite is the Boks Adobe Air application for a visual grid editor.
